Top tech podcasters sign on as co-hosts of iProng Radio

November 3rd, 2007

Bill Palmer is joined by Victor from TMUP, Adam from MacCast, Cali from GeekBrief, Ken from MacOSKen, and Tim from MyMac as permanent rotating co-hosts of iProng Radio

iProng, the publication for iPod and iPhone users, is proud to announce the addition of five new co-hosts for the iProng Radio podcast. Victor Cajiao of Typical Mac User, Adam Christianson of MacCast, Cali Lewis of GeekBrief, Ken Ray of Mac OS Ken, and Tim Robertson of MyMac have all signed on as permanent rotating co-hosts. Each week, iProng Radio host Bill Palmer will be joined by one of his co-hosts to discuss the latest iPod, iPhone, and iTunes news and developments.

“iProng Radio’s five new co-hosts are each well established in the tech podcasting community in their own right, and they each bring something different to the table,” said iProng.com Publisher Bill Palmer. “They all know their stuff when it comes to the iPod and iPhone. I’ve worked with all of them on-air in the past, and I’m honored that they’re going to be joining me permanently. The rotating format will give us a fresh new episode each week, and you can’t beat this lineup.”

In addition to the five regular co-hosts, iProng Radio will occasionally be guest co-hosted by industry luminaries including Dave Hamilton of iPodObserver, Shelly Brisbin of Blogger and Podcaster Magazine, Jason Tucker of GeekFit, and others. In addition, when major iPod or iPhone news breaks, such as the release of a new model, the entire group of co-hosts will come together for a special panel-based episode to discuss the big news (based on availability).

iProng Radio’s tradition of interviewing musicians will also continue, with those interviews released as mid-week “bonus episodes” when they occur. Past musician interviews on iProng Radio have included Pete Yorn, Duran Duran, Augustana, Flaming Lips, Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead, Matthew Ebel, Silverchair, and more.

About iProng Radio’s co-hosts:

Tim Robertson has been the publisher of MyMac.com for twelve years and hosts the MyMac Podcast, covering the iPod, iPhone, Mac, and Apple in general.

Ken Ray is the host of the Mac OS Ken podcast, a daily look at the latest Apple, Macintosh, iPod, and iPhone news. Ken is also the host of Technocracy Radio, a podcast with a wider technology focus.

Cali Lewis is the host of GeekBrief, a daily video podcast focused on general technology. Cali is also the host of iCali, a podcast focused specifically on the iPhone.

Adam Christianson is the host of the MacCast and the MacCast Loop as well as co-host of the Mac Roundtable and has been podcasting since 2004.

Victor Cajiao is the host of the Typical Mac User Podcast, formerly the host of the Typical PC User Podcast. Victor is also the host of Immigration Tales.
